Blending dance, shadow puppetry, poetry, and featuring live DJ tunes, Munish takes audiences on a hilarious and heartfelt journey through cultural stereotypes, manhood, and the glittering myths of Bollywood romance.

Munish Sharma is a Vancouver based actor, writer and producer. He began his career writing sketches as the co-creator of the hit underground cult sketch group, I can’t Believe it’s not Butter Chicken from 2008 to 2012. His first work as a playwright, Mrs. Singh and Me won Pick of the fringe honours at the Vancouver Fringe Festival in 2015.  More recently he created the Pop of Dance show Dance like no one’s watching with Richard Wolfe and Anita Majumbar for Pi Theatre in 2021 and was Commissioned by Regina’s Globe Theatre to write the play #34 about the life of the late great CFL legend George Reed which premiered in 2022 at Regina’s Globe Theatre. Munish also just finished his first tour of Whynot Theatre’s adaptation of the ancient epic Mahabharata, in which he plays Bhima.
